You have probably heard about SMART goals before: specific, measurable, actionable, reasonable, timely.
This complex structure may seem a little overwhelming to someone trying to focus on how to implement their goal as simply as possible into their outrageously busy life. If you’re anything like me, putting your goal into action is WAY harder than planning them out. But your goal will live in the mind until action is taken.
My advice to you:clearly state WHAT you want to achieve and WHEN you want to achieve it.
In my line of work, a lot of people come to me with a goal of weight loss, better quality of life or healthier eating. These are all noble goals, but they lack in clarity and target. HOW MUCH weight do you want to lose? WHY do you think you need a better quality of life? WHAT kind of healthier eating are you striving for? Lucky for you, that’s why I’m here! To help you define your goals and create an action plan on how to make it happen.
The best way to approach a larger goal is to break them out into smaller ones. Celebrate these smaller achievements as you move closer and closer towards your larger goal. You’ll get there in no time with proper self-accountability and support along the way.
If you want some assistance on how to map out achieving your goals, I am happy to answer any questions you have about getting started. There’s nothing more that I want for you than for you to look back at your journey and say to yourself, “I did it!”
Don’t forget: Define your goal. Make a plan. And make it happen. You have everything in you RIGHT NOW to get there!
