Where is the Enchantment Resort?

What is the Cathedral Rock Vortex Tour?

Drive with us from Enchantment Resort past some of Sedona’s most iconic rock formations to one of the area’s world-famous energy centers. Hike along a moderate trail, learn about vortex energies and experience the area’s predominantly female energetic patterns through a guided meditation.  

Beneath the endless beauty beats a healing heart. Sedona has long been regarded as a place both sacred and powerful. It is a cathedral without walls. It is Stonehenge not yet assembled. People travel from all across the globe to experience the mysterious cosmic forces that are said to emanate from the red rocks. They come in search of the vortexes.  

What is a vortex? Sedona vortexes (the proper grammatical form ‘vortices’ is rarely used) are thought to be swirling centers of energy that are conducive to healing, meditation and self-exploration. These are places where the earth seems especially alive with energy. Many people feel inspired, recharged or uplifted after visiting a vortex.   

Can I use the deposit or payments I’ve made on another retreat towards this one?

Yes! If you have a retreat balance with us, we can apply any part towards the cost of this retreat. Please keep in mind you may lose your place in a future retreat if you transfer the deposit to this one.  

Can I use my Ultimate Plus & Ultimate Membership Retreat Credit?

Yes! Ultimate Plus members may use up to $300 of their yearly retreat credit and Ultimate members may use up to $200 of their yearly retreat credit. 

What if The Hot Room postpones the retreat?

The Hot Room will notify retreat guests immediately if a retreat must be postponed due to travel restrictions or if the minimum registration isn’t met. The retreat will be moved to a later date at least 4-6 months out to allow guests to make their arrangements to attend.  

What if I need to cancel due to a positive COVID-19 test result?

In the event that you are not able to attend the retreat, The Hot Room will apply any payments you have made towards a future retreat. You will always have priority for retreat registration. 

What should I do to prepare for the retreat?

We ask that you avoid large gatherings for two weeks prior to the retreat, maintain social distancing, wear a face mask, wash hands often, avoid touching your face, nose and mouth and use hand sanitizer frequently. Plan for a COVID-19 test that will give you results within 5 days of your departure for the retreat.  

What should I do after the retreat?

Plan to get tested for COVID-19 when you arrive back in the United States. Avoid large gatherings until you receive your test results. Maintain social distancing, wear a face mask, wash hands often, avoid touching your face, nose and mouth and use hand sanitizer frequently. Look for symptoms of Coronavirus and stay home if you are sick.  

What is the safest way to travel by air?

Book your flight on an airline that has the safest COVID-19 protocols in place. Delta, Southwest & JetBlue all leave the middle seat open, disinfect regularly and maintain social-distancing in the check-in and boarding process. All airlines require a face mask. The Hot Room will provide you with a travel kit before departure that includes an N-95 mask, sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer & gloves.   

Wear your mask while in transit to the airport, during check-in and on the plane. Use sanitation wipes to clean the high-touch areas around your seat. Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer frequently.  

When should I book my flights to arrive and depart?

All arrivals to Flagstaff Pulliam Airport shall arrive by 5pm on August 19 and depart after 12pm on August 22. 

Is airport transfer included?

Yes, your transfer to and from Enchantment is included in the price of the retreat.  

Do I need travel insurance?

It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance and choose a “Cancel for Any Reason” add-on which you can purchase from some insurance providers when buying specific plans. By paying extra for this coverage, you can cancel for any reason under the sun as long as you follow the policies’ purchase and cancel stipulations. Here’s a great article on this add-on and what it does and doesn’t cover.

What if I need to get tested for COVID-19 while on the retreat?

If anyone needs to be tested, there are laboratories in town that provide the test service. Taking the sample on-site is an option as well and would cost approximately $100 USD.   

What protocols are in place to ensure sanitation and safety at Enchantment?

  • The resort has been thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitized and will maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule. Items in public spaces and guest rooms that cannot be sanitized to our standards, such as decorative pillows, have been removed.  
  • We’ve set up hand sanitizing stations in all public buildings and scattered around our property. Personal protective masks and gloves are available to guests upon request.  
  • Open-air transportation around the resort is available to single parties of up to four guests to ensure safe distancing.  
  • The health of our team members is a top priority and is being carefully monitored with daily temperature readings.  
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn by all team members in adherence with CDC guidelines and Arizona state laws. All team members will participate in ongoing COVID-19 safety and sanitization training. Every resort team member will sign a personal responsibility form confirming their completed training in COVID-19 safety procedures. 
  • At this time, resort access and all amenities will be limited to registered guests of Enchantment Resort and Mii amo. 
  • Check-in will be expedited to accommodate minimal contact. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted at their vehicle for a touch-free check-in process.   
  • In order to provide guests with a superior level of housekeeping, daily service has been refined to accommodate personal preferences and maintain physical distancing.  
  • Upon arrival, we will confirm housekeeping preferences and discuss options for daily services, linen exchanges and nightly turndown.  
  • Housekeeping will only enter a guest room when it is empty. If a guest returns to the room while housekeeping is there, the room attendant will leave.  
  • Guest room mini bars have been removed. In its place, we’ve created a personalized snack and beverage menu that can be viewed on guest room TVs and conveniently delivered through In-Room Dining.  
  • New sets of in-room amenities, such as bathroom toiletries and coffee pods, will be provided for each guest during their stay. These items will be changed when the room is deep cleaned and sanitized between guest stays.  
  • Che Ah Chi will be open for dine-in or carryout service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Indoor seating has been reduced to allow for at least six feet between each seated group. Patio spaces have been reconfigured to allow for additional al fresco dining in a more spacious layout. All printed menus are single-use and will be discarded after each guest.  
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as face masks, will be worn by restaurant team members in accordance with CDC guidelines and Arizona state laws.  
  • For those who would like to dine in the comfort of their private casita or suite, In-Room Dining is available from 6am – 11pm with non-contact delivery. An In-Room Dining menu can be viewed on guest room TVs.  
  • In addition to our already high standard of cleaning, the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces, such as door handles.  
  • Dining at Mii amo is open for lunch from 11am-4pm and dinner from 5pm-9pm.  
  • Appointment times for spa services at Mii amo will be staggered to reduce capacity of lounges, relaxation rooms and allow for additional cleaning and sanitizing of all spaces.  
  • Each treatment room will ‘rest’ for a minimum 30 minutes between appointments to allow for deep cleaning and sanitization of the room.  
  • Masks will be required for guests and treatment providers during spa services.  
  • Upon entry into the spa lounges, guests’ temperature will be read via a temporal head scan. 
  • Shared spa spaces and amenities (men’s and women’s lounges, sauna, whirlpool, etc.) will be available to a limited number of guests on a first come, first served basis to ensure proper social distancing. Steam rooms will be closed until further notice.  
  • Shared amenities in the spa lounges have been removed. Toiletry items and personal grooming products will be available upon request.  
  • Bottled water will be available upon request in the relaxation rooms prior to spa services. Self-serve snacks and beverages will no longer be available.  
  • The fitness center and group classes will be available to no more than six guests at a time to ensure appropriate distancing.  
  • The Crystal Grotto will be limited to six guests at a time to allow for appropriate distancing. Morning ritual will be available to groups of six per session. Additional sessions will be added as needed to ensure all guests are accommodated.  
  • All outdoor rental equipment will be thoroughly cleaned following CDC guidelines, including but not limited to mountain bikes, e-bikes, helmets, binoculars and headlamps. 
  • Retail stores are open with limited guest capacity.  
  • Pool capacity will be reduced.  
  • Chaise lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas will be sanitized after each use.  
  • Ladders, stair rails and frequent contact surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized every hour.  

Is the pool open at Enchantment?

Yes it is! We will practice social distancing in the pool area just as we do throughout Enchantment. 

 

Is there a hot room at Enchantment?

We will be taking advantage of the warm, beautiful weather and taking our practice outdoors in Boynton Canyon.
