“I love helping people feel empowered about their bodies. My favorite thing is that lightbulb moment, the clarity in someone’s eyes when they’ve unlocked the mystery of a posture or learned something new about how to heal their pain.”
Molly looked for a hot yoga studio as soon as she moved to Indy from Texas by way of her husband’s job, but The Hot Room was not open yet. One day, Molly was flipping through one of those free magazines at her gym and came across an interview from Hye Jin about The Hot Room. Molly was excited to know what she was searching for was finally in Indianapolis. She booked a class that day and has been a faithful member of the community since.

Camel. This is both my favorite & most frustrating posture. I spent the first 6 months of my practice just getting into the setup position. My spine is not naturally flexible in a deep backbend and I often feel very dizzy, lightheaded and nauseated just getting setup. But when I can push through that, pure magic happens in my body.
What do you do outside of the studio?
I love to read – mostly memoirs and historical fiction. I also write. I like to sew – I love revamping old clothes into something new. I’m currently in the process of redoing my home office into my own personal “sewing/craft room” including handmade curtains. I love to bake things with my kids – especially cookies, breads, homemade cinnamon rolls.
I lived for a time in Taos Ski Valley the Sangre de Cristos Mountains and can ski black diamonds.
