Yin Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training
The Hot Room Leadership Institute 80-Hour Yin and Yoga Nidra Teacher Training is a unique teacher training designed to advance your teaching and leadership skills for greater skill and mastery.

This training will transform how you show up as a leader in your teaching and other areas of your life.
Format
This 80-hour training includes a mix of in-person instruction in Indianapolis, practice teaching, reflective journaling, and guided self-study. All participants will receive a manual and access to downloadable guided meditations and sample class scripts.
Description
This 80-hour training is designed for yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, and dedicated students who seek to expand their understanding of Yin Yoga while learning to skillfully guide meditation —including Yoga Nidra, visualization, breath-based focus, and mindfulness.
Participants will explore the anatomy, energetics, and philosophy of stillness while building the confidence to hold space for profound inner work. Through embodied learning, hands-on practice, and reflective inquiry, this training empowers you to guide others through safe, inclusive, and transformational experiences.

Yin Yoga Foundations
- The history and evolution of Yin Yoga
- In-depth exploration of yin asanas and their energetic targets (meridians and chakras)
- Variations for accessibility
- Intelligent use of props for comfort and depth

Guiding Transformational Experiences
- Understanding the nervous system and the science of rest
- Introduction to meditation methodologies: Yoga Nidra, mindfulness, visualization, breath awareness, and mantra

ABOUT ERIN
Erin Polley is an E-RYT 500, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and Reiki Practitioner. She first completed her RYT 200 and went on to earn her advanced 500-hour certification that included 80 hours of study in Yin Yoga with Kelly Curry, a student of Michelle Finch, who was trained by Sarah Powers, Jo Phee, and Paul Grilley. She has additional training in Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Ayurveda.
It is Erin’s passion to create transformational experiences that empower people to heal themselves and the world. She has led international and domestic yoga retreats in Mexico, Costa Rica, Portugal, Guatemala, Sicily, and across the U.S., weaving together yoga, mindfulness, and holistic healing practices.
